Stanley E. Seth

Pastor Stanley E. Seth began his walk with God in 1993 at 37 years of age. Prior to his conversion, his focus was on his business career. He is a graduate of Delaware State College (1980) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He also attended the MBA Program at Columbia University in New York City (1983). His concentrations while there were Corporate Financial Management, Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Planning.
In the Fall of 1983, Pastor Seth married his college sweetheart, Millicent C. Bass. Millicent graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. The next year their daughter, Ashley, was born. Several years later, Nathanael (1998) and Michael (1999) would become welcome additions. To the Seth's, the well being of family is of paramount importance. So, they began their lives together focusing on family and career.
As most people know, the trials of life can be overwhelming. People put forth their best effort and still do not succeed. It was through one of these trials of life that God intervened for the Seth’s. It was awesome! God became a rescuer, a healer, a helper, a forgiver, and a promoter. The Seth’s discovered that the Lord Jesus Christ was making a difference in their lives. He still does, and it’s still Awesome!
One year after his conversion, Pastor Seth received his call to the ministry. His training has come at the able hands of Pastor James Beardsley. Pastor Beardsley has both taught and recommended theological and religious courses for Brother Seth's development. This training initiative would continue for the next 13 years. During that time Pastor Seth progressed through the United Pentecostal Church International’s three levels of licensing requirements. He became an ordained minister on May 29, 2002.
While pursuing his ministerial training, Brother Seth began teaching Bible Studies. With the help of Newark UPC, these Bible Studies began to grow. It is out of this effort that Wilmington Apostolic Pentecostal Church was born. Today this church is a thriving worship center where the lost can come to be saved. Like the Seth’s, the lives of many people are being transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. You see,
With God, All Things are Possible!
